Selected engagements.

A selection of client engagements. Clients are not named, and each note states plainly whether the work is live, delivered or in progress.

Operations

Delivered

Situation

A bus operator recorded daily collections, fuel, wages, repairs and compliance documents in notebooks and registers. Insurance and fitness renewal dates were easily missed.

Approach

We documented how the operation runs day to day, then built a fleet operations system covering trips and collections, reminders ten days before insurance, fitness or registration expiry, and a daily profit figure that carries losses forward.

Outcome

Delivered and handed over to the owner. Refinements continue as further requirements emerge.

Proof of concept

Situation

A regional bookstore operated on an older Java e-commerce platform that was difficult to change.

Approach

We audited the platform and built a working proof of concept on a lighter, modern stack, with category filtering, sorting and a live cart, to demonstrate a phased migration.

Outcome

Proof of concept delivered. Full migration has not begun.

Digital presence

Live

Situation

A food producer's ageing WordPress website had been compromised, with malicious code hidden in old pages, and the domain needed to move without interrupting the business.

Approach

We cloned the site, removed the injected code, recovered lost pages from web archives, rebuilt the site in React, and planned the domain and hosting migration to avoid any downtime.

Outcome

Live in production on its own domain.

Delivered

Situation

An organisation wanted to understand why AI assistants rarely referred to it.

Approach

We assessed it against six measures of AI visibility and delivered a prioritised 30-day plan. We also identified an unverifiable award claim in its structured data and recommended removing it before AI assistants repeated it.

Outcome

Assessment and plan delivered.

Delivered

Situation

A business's website traffic appeared healthy, but few visitors appeared to be genuine.

Approach

We analysed engagement against session duration, separated automated traffic from genuine visitors, and identified a real overseas audience and revenue tracking that was active but had never been configured correctly.

Outcome

Findings delivered, redirecting the client's effort toward the channels that matter.

Delivered

Situation

An architecture practice needed an assessment of its website as the basis for a revamp.

Approach

We audited every page, setting out each issue in a table against a specific fix, with reference sites for the intended direction. A Lighthouse review scored mobile performance, accessibility and search visibility for each page, and traced failures to their causes, such as image weight and colour contrast.

Outcome

Delivered. A follow-up audit some months later confirmed which of the original findings had been fixed and which remained open.

Sales and revenue

Live

Situation

A food business received leads through Instagram, a Meta form, email and WhatsApp, and tracked them manually.

Approach

We built a single operations system in which every lead is recorded in the CRM, with team alerts and status actions in chat, live dashboards for the owners, and historical invoices reconciled.

Outcome

Live and in daily use.

Live

Situation

Two organisations running paid advertising were at risk of spending beyond their intended budgets.

Approach

We implemented three safeguards: a firm lifetime cap, a daily threshold that pauses campaigns until a person approves further spend, and an approval step that cannot be triggered by automated email scanning.

Outcome

Live for both organisations.

In progress

Situation

An architecture practice's advertising generated many enquiries from prospects who could not become clients.

Approach

We defined the right client profile from the practice's own interviews, revised the messaging, and added a qualifying question before enquiries reach the team.

Outcome

In progress, pending the client's own data.

Delivered

Situation

A food business wanted to sell to institutions as gifts, a buyer that advertising platforms cannot target by category.

Approach

We built prospect lists by region and category, wrote outreach messages for each category, and moved budget from paid advertising towards direct outreach in phases.

Outcome

Delivered.

Brand and marketing

Delivered

Situation

An architecture practice needed a brand direction, and its own answers about its identity pulled in different directions.

Approach

We gathered the practice's position on a personality scale and a visual mood, wrote the essence of the brand as a single statement, and flagged where its own inputs conflicted so that they could be resolved deliberately.

Outcome

Brand strategy brief delivered.

Delivered

Situation

A food business running a seasonal campaign wanted to know which advertising creative performed best.

Approach

We ran bounded tests and read each one after a defined time window, using every advertisement's results for that window and not its lifetime totals. Clear winners and losers were acted on under the client's standing authority.

Outcome

Delivered for the seasonal campaign.
